- We had a great experience having our household furnishings and belongings moved 300+ miles. Their quote was competitive and their staff was courteous, hardworking, and respectful of our belongings. They arrived on time for loading and unloading, and everything was moved into the house carefully and as quickly as a hot August day would allow. - A+ experience and highly recommended!! Thomas and his crew moved our family from RI to VA last week. From my initial Facebook message to him asking for a quote until he delivered our goods we had a fantastic experience with zero issues or complaints. His communication with us about our move was top notch. His estimate was accurate and the final cost was at the lower end of the estimate and very reasonably priced. Thomas and his team were professional, friendly and accommodating. I simply cannot say enough great things about this company. Hands down I would recommend them again and again to people who are moving. Having Mountain Moving handle our move really took a huge weight off of our shoulders! - Great experience from start to finish. Very professional staff and service. They picked up antique furniture from my parents home 3.5 hours away and delivered it to me in perfect condition. They skillfully maneuvered a 6 foot 6 inch long, 70 year old dresser up a set of complicated stairs that has twists and turns. Highly recommend this company!- Paula A. 2/25/2018

- Excellent all around! With only 4 days notice, Thomas, with the help of Cody, moved my mother into a small apartment. They were on time, worked quickly and carefully, and were well priced. - I used Mountain Moving for a short move in Harrisonburg. They arrived on time ready to work. They evaluated what they had to move and where they would store it in the truck. My house was emptied in an hour with no problems. They promptly moved everything into my new place and placed it exactly where I wanted it. They even removed the legs from the couch so as not to scratch the walls and to make it fit through the doorways easier. No damage was done to any of my belongings.
